The different sounds and you can control volume. And now I get the little chime when I get deliveries. Helps to get those packages right away. It works great. I ziptied it to my chain link fence, no screws needed. Very sensitive, even on low.

I live in central Texas, and I have a garden in my unfenced front yard. I think you can imagine the kinds of issues I might have! I was having a lot of trouble with deer and armadillos this year. I was trying all kinds of stuff to keep them away, traps, electric shock sticks, sprays, etc. but nothing quite worked, or nothing was very easy to maintain. Finally I decided to get these motion sensors and use them in conjunction with some live feed cameras that I installed in various places around my house. Now whenever one of the alarms goes off, I open the camera app on my phone to see whose out there. I have one alarm specifically set on top of an armadillo trap, pointed downwards, so it only alerts me when I have trapped an armadillo. Even if it's at 2am, I know exactly what's going on and I can immediately go out there to take care of the little bugger. As for the deer, I have alarms placed in various locations around the garden perimeter and it alerts me any time an animal passes through. It took a couple of months, but eventually the deer learned that whenever they stepped foot in my garden, a crazy woman would somehow always know they were there and would run out of the house and chase after them. Now they don't even bother coming near. So these motion sensors basically allowed me to "train" the deer to avoid my house. I haven't had a deer issue in months, and the armadillos are under control as well. No more plants being ripped up or eaten!

I've been pleasantly surprised at the accuracy of these sensors as well. They will sometimes go off if the wind is strong, and they see bushes waving around because of a big gust, but for the most part I can expect an animal of some kind to be the culprit of the alarm. It doesn't even go off in heavy rain, which i was surprised by. I've learned to trust the alarms. If they go off and it isn't windy, then something was there. Granted, sometimes that "thing" was a large moth, a toad, or a bird, I also have foxes that like to frequent and they are fun to watch on the cameras. But I wouldn't know when to look unless those sensors told me something was moving out there. It's very interesting being aware of the creatures that come into the garden.

In short I use these sensors in tandem with cameras. This system wouldn't be as helpful to me if I didn't also have the cameras set up. Because when the alarms go off I use the cameras to confirm if a problem animal is actually present before running outside. I also have this system set up on a timer so it only goes off from sunset to sunrise, when all the varmints like to come out! This means it isn't constantly going off in the morning when the birds and butterflies are flapping around. But yeah, in short, I'm so glad I made this purchase. It perfectly suits what I needed!

I love my owls, the owls are some what hidden to hide from intruders. I just love these cute owls. They will alert you from any part of your home I have 3 levels. I will know when you approach my yard night or day. This is a excellent product.

I've been using these sensors to protect my chicken coop and trash shed from bears, racoons, foxes, etc. I live in a forest obviously. Been holding up quite well for a month or more. I appreciate the many different alert sounds to choose from. They let me know if it's the coop or the trash. It's really easy to connect them all. The battery ports are very well covered and has faired well through many thunderstorms already.
The receiver must have a small backup battery because it remembers my settings when the power goes out (frequently) but the alarm will not sound. Which is unfortunate because the bears are persistent and they got in during a power failure. I only need the alarms active at night so I have to make sure to turn the volume off and on but otherwise this is a really decent product.

Love the look of the owl, both outside on my fence and in my kitchen. I have the sensor set up in my rural area driveway, at least 100 feet from the base, have had it up a little over 3 weeks. Nice that there are many notification sound choices, I use the barking dog, and the owl's eyes light up (inside unit) when triggered - it works great and gives some peace of mind and advance notice when visitors show up unannounced. The package comes with one indoor base unit and two outside sensors, each sensor is easily set to a different notification sound so you know at which location the motion is detected. Price is very reasonable. Seller even contacted me to be sure I liked the purchase.

I purchased this to notify me when the dog is coming to the door so I can get to door before she jumps up on it. Works great! Lots of different sounds to choose from. The volume control is also a plus, as some sounds can be really annoying at a loud volume. The eyes also flash in case someone is hard of hearing. Would buy again. Would be nice if it was rechargeable, not sure how long batteries will last. (reason for 4 stars not 5.)

Works great.I have long driveway that wraps around house and because of tree line can’t see end of my driveway/cars pulling in unless I happen to be looking out certain window as they pass.. based on reviews I hung it up about 25 ft from end of driveway to avoid street traffic.. the bracket has swivel so it’s angled away from street.. some of chimes are pretty irritating so I set it to “ driveway” .. it’s been in 20s at night and poured the last 2 days still working.. I have it anchored on a tree.. definitely feel safer knowing car/truck is pulling in before driver is at my back door .. sensitive enough to pick up kid on a bike or dog/ deer in driveway .. and chimes 2x for large/long trucks like UPS

Our driveway is about a 1/4 mile long so we use this alarm to alert us when someone is here. It’s very sensitive and will go off for deer occasionally, so if you’re in a high traffic area, be prepared that it will go off for people and animals as well as vehicles. We’ve had it out for a few months and haven’t had to replace the battery yet. I wish it was able to have multiple receivers so we could have them in different rooms, as I don’t always hear it if I’m on the other side of the house.
